Light Fun Read　　（2008-11-12）
I have been a fan of Kinsella's work since her Shopaholic days.
Her books are all fun and light weight... nothing too serious.
So, her latest work "Remember Me" doesnt disappoint.
Our latest heroine Lexie goes into a coma after a car accident and wakes up with no memories of what happened for the past 3 years.
She doesnt remember anything about how she got her hair glossy & shiny, perfect white teeth, toned slim body, a gorgeous husband, an immaculate loft apartment overlooking London etc....
All she can remember is being cut out of bonus, stood out by her loser boyfriend & getting drenched in the pouring rain while tryin to get a cab back home after clubbing with best pals.

If you are looking for a great fun read, nothing too heavy or serious.. this is the kind of book.
I read it all within a few hours.

残念でした。駄作。長年ソフィー・キンセラのファンだった人たちの期待を裏切ります。
記憶喪失になってからあと、ほとんど何も事件がおきない。退屈。半分過ぎてやっと新登場人物が出てきて面白くなるか、と思いきや、中途半端。キンセラお得意の、終盤のスペクタクルもなく、「これで終わり？」って感じです。
ビジネス批判、上流階級批判は、彼女のお得意だけど、今回は新味がなく、お金持ちでゴージャスで妻に優しいエリックが、やたらとあら捜しされてしまうのも、なんだかかわいそうになってくる。
翻訳が出ても、読まなくていいかな、という感じ。次回作もパスかなー。
